Syracuse University

I began teaching at Syracuse University in 2001, the same year I received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Eastman School of Music. Since that time I have been extremely fortunate to work with a wide variety of very talented musicians as they prepare for a great many career paths in an ever-changing commercial landscape.

The Setnor School of Music offers a wonderfully varied curriculum, that continues to evolve in order to best prepare our students for the multifaceted and dynamic life of a musician in the 21st century. Our flexible curriculum, commercial music offerings, and strong interdisciplinary culture are just a few of he reasons we consistently earn high marks as one of the best music programs in the country.
